Our general conditions
1.GENERAL PROVISIONS
Our services are governed by these general terms and conditions and by the Swiss Code of Obligations. Any deviation requires prior written agreement.
2.OUR COMMITMENTS
sofacleaning.ch undertakes to:
- Carry out the work with diligence and professionalism
- Provide the appropriate equipment and products
- Respect the prices established in our offers (travel included)
- Use certified and biodegradable professional products (CE 648/2004)
- Guarantee punctuality and expertise (20 years of experience)
- Equip our technicians with adequate protective gear
3.CLIENT OBLIGATIONS
The client must:
- Clear the areas to be cleaned before our arrival
- Report any specific conditions (delicate floors, special requirements)
- Provide the exact service address in writing or verbally
- Communicate all necessary information for the quote
4.TECHNICAL LIMITATIONS
Some stains may resist cleaning:
Stains on natural textiles (wool, cotton, linen, viscose, etc.) are significantly more difficult to remove due to their fragility and high absorption capacity.
Acidic stains (urine, vomit, food): risk of fiber damage
Coloring stains (blood, coffee, etc.): possible pigmentation
Persistent odors: inaccessible or heavily saturated areas
Organic odors are treated with enzymatic neutralizers and will be eliminated or reduced.
5.PRICING
Pricing is based on the information and photos provided. Additional charges may apply if the surface area exceeds the initial data by more than 10% (after verbal agreement).
Not included unless otherwise agreed:
- Extraordinary protective measures
- Moving heavy or obstructive items
- Work not initially agreed upon
6.PAYMENT TERMS
PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS: Payment upon completion by cash, credit card, or Twint.
BUSINESSES (> 1500 CHF): Invoice payable within 10 days, with a 50% deposit upon confirmation. Late payment interest: 5% after due date.
7.BOOKING AND CANCELLATION
Booking becomes effective once the service address is received.
- Free cancellation: up to 5 business days before the scheduled service
- Cancellation within 5 days: 100% of the amount due
- After a first cancellation: no further free cancellations
If the client is absent upon our arrival, we will wait 30 minutes. After this period, the service will be considered cancelled and fully charged.
We reserve the right to refuse service after two cancellations and to request full advance payment.
8.COMPLAINTS
Deadline: maximum 48 hours after the service. Beyond this period, no complaint will be accepted.
A second visit is offered free of charge in case of omission or proven negligence on our part.
9.LIABILITY
sofacleaning.ch holds professional liability insurance (CHF 250,000).
We are liable for damages resulting from gross negligence, unless evidence of appropriate preventive measures is provided.
Liability exclusions:
- Damage caused by the client
- Defects inherent to the material or surface
- Circumstances beyond our control
Any damage must be reported immediately after the service.
